REview – Splinter (2008)

I haven’t heard of Toby Wilkins’ Splinter before recently–despite the movie coming out in 2008–and found myself pleasantly surprised because it’s really good!

The movie revolves around a group of people under siege by an alien entity –and while it may have received a theatrical release I don’t remember it–and while it wears it’s influences on its sleeve it’s somehow manages to be its own thing.

And while it’s obvious it doesn’t have a huge budget, the money that they have looks well-spent.

Check out Splinter on Vudu, a streaming channel where you can watch it for free–with commercials.

Kind of like Hulu except you don’t have to pay for the commercials.
