
Someone said “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression,” or something to that effect.
The same thing applies to movie posters.
I’ve been known to not see a movie based exclusively on the poster. And I understand that that’s not entirely fair, but it is what it is though I understand that which is why I cannot stand badly done/garish movie posters.
Which brings me to Don’t Speak.
This. Poster. Sucks. The lower section is fine, the upper section–the part with the monster that looks like a pale squash with teeth?–frankly the only part that you SEE, is ridiculous.
It’s the worse, which is why i’m glad this movie (which based upon the trailer doesn’t look half bad) isn’t getting a theatrical release.
