Trailer Into Reaction: Dark Phoenix | Final Trailer

The final trailer for Dark Phoenix was released a few hours ago, and it looks pretty good. The problem is this isn’t the first trailer and it’s a little late for redemption. And besides, I have seen other movies in the Fox X-Men series, and they’re for the most part mediocre, at best (and X-Men: […]

Logan – Trailer# 2

Twentieth Century Fox’s Logan is indicative of their problems managing their X-Men franchise.   Supposedly it’s going to be R-rated, not because Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is a mutant who’s primarily features are a healing factor, Adamantium-coated claws and a bestial nature to match, but because Deadpool had an R- rating, and it gave Fox almost […]

Logan – Official Trailer

It’s no secret that I don’t particularly like what Fox has done with the Marvel’s X-Men, though take that dislike and double it, and that’s approaches what I feel what they have done with Wolverine. And the worse thing for me is that it’s all about greed. Hugh Jackman’s portrayal (despite that, visually speaking, he’s not […]

‘Inkmaster’ ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Trailer

And I have no problem with that, minus the occasion […]

Official ‘The Wolverine’ Trailer

Here’s the complete trailer for James Mangold‘s ‘The Wolverine,” complete with narrative continuity!  Here, Logan/Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) makes his way to Japan, where it appears that he somehow loses his healing factor, which is bad thing when what looks like hundreds of black pajama-clad ninjas are trying to kill you. There’s a fight on what […]

Latest Photo From ‘The Wolverine’

Here’s the first photo from James Mangold‘s “The Wolverine.”  It tells you virtually nothing other than that Hugh Jackman is really, really built.  It takes place in Japan, and Silver Samurai is the main bad guy. Speaking of Mangold, if you haven’t seen his “Identity,” rent it.  It’s an interesting twist on the traditional horror flick.

Van Helsing 2

I heard a while ago that there would be a sequel to 2004’s Van Helsing, the Hugh Jackman film that (somehow) managed to earn around $300 million dollars worldwide, though I assumed that Universal came to their senses and moved on, since it seemed lost in development hell. Silly me. Sure, it managed to mangle […]
