The (Allegedly) True Story of Netflix’s Cancellation of Marvel’s Daredevil

You thought that with the cancellation of Daredevil on Netflix that that story was over, didn’t you?

At least I did, till I learned that–according to Frosty Weintraub at Collider–has heard that the show was canceled not because of Netflix, but Marvel Television!

If you take into account that supposedly the ratings of Netflix were relatively high, it actually makes sense.

The only problem with this theory is that since Netflix doesn’t actually release ratings, so the only definitive way you can tell if a show does well is through either renewal, or cancellation.

Which means the real truth is that we’re not likely to know the real reason–or reasons.  It’s entirely possible there are more than one–and the situation is significantly more complex than anyone knows.
