Movies about AI going bonkers–like 2001: A Space Odyssey or 2018’s Tau–are hardly uncommon but AMI hits a little bit closer to home with a digital assistant that’s remarkably similar to Apple’s Siri.

And speaking of digital assistants, check out Marti, an episode from the Netflix series Creeped Out.

I suspect it’s a lot like AMI, minus the murderous intent (though dealing with Siri can be frustrating enough to make you want to kill someone).
