I’ll readily admit that movies like Hobbs & Shaw aren’t typically the types of movies I tend to see. Too many cars defying the laws of physics, too much exposition about people being “family” as opposed to people just acting as such.

That being said I enjoyed the trailer because it rises or falls on the chemistry between Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson.

That it somewhat deemphasizes the car-based antics is a plus (though this is a spinoff of Fast & Furious, so you’re going to get a more than a few heaping doses of car porn, if that’s your thing).
