I didn’t see IT: Chapter 2 because I was underwhelmed by IT: Chapter 1 so I didn’t quite see the point.

And with Doctor Sleep coming sometime in November I’m looking forward to some horror content before that time, so enter Haunt.

It sounds vaguely like The Houses October Built, though with Eli Roth directing I’m expecting more than a little bit of gore, which isn’t to say that I expect it to be particularly good because…well…Eli Roth.

That it was written by the writers of A Quiet Place isn’t terribly reassuring because that was particularly overrated–not terrible by any means, and in fact pretty enjoyable, but overrated.

It wasn’t terrible, though not nearly as good as everyone seems to say it is.
