REview: The Car: Road To Revenge (2019) | Like Watching A Car Crash, Except Worse

The Car: Road To Revenge let’s be clear, is a bad movie. I don’t say that to dismiss the hundreds of people who likely worked hard to make this movie possible but because it steals liberally from both Robocop and The Crow (both remarkably better movies) yet manages not to do that very well.

The movie stars Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica) as a District Attorney of a city eerily similar to OCP’s Detroit–that I’m reasonably sure is somewhere in Australia–who is murdered and because MOVIE, possesses his car.

And if this were a better movie a lot of the glaring errors would likely be less so, though because it isn’t they’re put in a harsh light that makes everything looks less competent that it perhaps is.

And I think it’s worth mentioning that I don’t typically go into a movie wanting to not like it, but then again I have rarely seen a movie so designed to offend my sensibilities as this one.
