What is it with Alien movies? The feature films can’t seem to remain faithful to their underlying ideas and mythology, so why should I expect shorts based on said movies to be any different?

And Alien: Alone proves my point. The concept is interesting, but it takes too many liberties with the source material.

It’s not bad but it could have been so much better.
