While I enjoyed the teaser trailer for To Your Last Death I don’t quite understand the point of it in that–in the teaser at least–it looks like a lot of live action movies we’ve seen before, like Saw or The Collector.

The strongest thing about it is the animation, which is a more traditional 2D though because the story doesn’t appear to be anything particularly innovative, I don’t quite see the point.

So, it on the face of it appears very, very niche, yet with names like Morena Baccarin, Ray Wise, Bill Moseley and William Shatner it feels like it should be aiming more toward the mainstream.
