Happy Death Day (2017) – Review

I have to admit that when I first heard of Happy Death Day I wasn’t expecting much…and after finally having seen it, I was right.

It’s too disposable by far and you know that that’s going to be the case when you realize the idea of a person reliving the same day seemingly infinitely is actually the most grounded part of the story.

The movie’s well acted and by no means terrible but in a way that’s even worse because you just expect more from it than you actually get.

And whatever you do, DO NOT watch Russian Doll–currently on Netflix!–because it covers similar subject matter, but not only is a much, much better movie but likely won’t improve your feelings about Happy Death Day.
