The trailer for Shudder’s Creepshow dropped a day or so ago…and it’s fine.

That’s (deliberately) muted phrase but since we’re talking about a show based upon an movie that was an anthology–a collection of short stories–it’s particularly hard to make a trailer about them because the scenes featured will likely lack any sort of interconnectedness.

Then there’s the humor, or lack thereof.

Creepshow and Creepshow 2 are filled with all sorts of black humor that makes them fun.

The less we say about the execrable Creepshow 3, the better.

You can’t see that in the teaser, which is understandable but gallows humor is part of what makes Creepshow, Creepshow.
