Final Destination (2000) – Review – Day 1 of The Final Destination-A-Thon

Welcome to the Final Destination-A-Thon! The bulk of the Final Destination movies recently turned up on Netflix, and I figure this is a good time for a once a day review of the series.

The first Final Destination movie came out 19 years ago, and it doesn’t wear particularly well.

The reason being is the premise–that people can somehow evade death–is pretty ludicrous, which isn’t helped by a movie that takes an absurd scenario way too seriously.

It’s by no means a terrible movie, but the buy-in for the premise is way too high.
