Netflix’s The October Faction is based on a graphic novel–which I haven’t read–though I think it’s really interesting that they haven’t surrendered the comics space to Disney+ and DC Universe.

Which reminds me, if Netflix is looking to adapt a property, why not consider Dark Horse’s Comics Greatest World franchise?

Sure, it was canceled but that’s despite the massive potential and great characters.

But I’m not here to talk about Comics’ Greatest World, but The October Faction trailer which dropped a week or so ago.

And…it looks pretty good. I can’t say how faithful it is though what I can say is that it looks fun as we meet a family who’s job is to hunt monsters, and have a particular dislike of the month of October.
